NEW DELHI: Barely two days after he left Delhi, Chief Minister Mukul Sangma again rushed to the national capital on Tuesday, but this time, he was accompanied Urban Affairs Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh.

Sangma is likely to go back to Shillong on Wednesday.

It was on Saturday that the Chief Minister air-dashed to Delhi to meet the AICC leaders to apprise them about the developments following the resignation of Home Minister Roshan Warjri, and on the next day he returned to Shillong. Officially, Mukul and Ampareen came here to attend an important meeting on urban affairs convened by the Centre.

It is yet to be known whether the Chief Minister will meet the AICC leaders to discuss the issue of cabinet reshuffle. Speculations are rife that the home portfolio will be allotted to Ampareen in the next Cabinet reshuffle.
