Bodies of three Bangladeshi nationals found floating

SHILLONG: Bodies of three Bangladeshis were found floating at Umngot  river in East Khasi Hills.
According to police, on November 27 at around 12.15pm, three unidentified bodies (one approximately  25/27 yrs while the other two 10/11 yrs and 7/8 yrs) were found floating in Umngot river near Umsyiem village in East Khasi Hills.
Police said during enquiry, it transpired that the deceased were Bangladeshi nationals and the cadavers bore injury marks.
It is suspected that they were murdered along the Indo-Bangladesh border and their bodies were dumped in the river.
