Nagaland Congress welcomes visit of PM Modi

Kohima: The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Com-mittee (NPCC) has extended its warm welcome to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his maiden visit to the state coinciding with the 51st anniversary of Statehood Day on December 1.

According to a release issued by NPCC media cell today said that the NPCC congratulateds the Prime Minister and the BJP party for receiving a clear mandate with a single party majority after 30 years.

The party hoped that Mr Modi’s visit would help in making a breakthrough on the long drawn Indo- Naga political problem, where negotiations with a parti-cular Naga Political Group for the past 17 years is yet to see the light. (UNI)
