Website for development of West Khasi Hills launched

NONGSTOIN: The website of the A=Apple Society, Nongstoin http://www.applesociety.in, was officially launched by the West Khasi Hills’s Deputy Commissioner S.Kharlyngdoh at the office chamber of the society in Nongstoin on Tuesday.

The Deputy Commissioner of West Khasi Hills S.Kharlyngdoh congratulated the Society for their great service in motivating the youths of the district and also lauded their effort in putting up the website.

Kharlyngdoh also expressed hope that important information relating to various activities and employment news will now be accessed by the people of the District. He also encourage the members of the Society to work hard for the betterment of youths through various programme.

Dr Lumbor Mawsor, Executive members of the Society while addressing the crowd said that the main aim for launching the website is not only to provide information about the work done by them but to also provide information to the unemployed youths of the district through the employment page in the website.

He also appealed to various department head of the district to give the Society the latest public notice of any kind like job vacancies, training etc to help the youths.

The function was also attended by A.Lyngkhoi, EE PHED, James Kharkongor, Project manager KCRMS, Kyntonbor Mawsor Chairman of the Society, Headmen of New Nongstoin, S.Rashir, S.Thyrniang amoung others.
