Trade Union to hold protest

SHILLONG: Following the call given by All Central Trade Unions and All the Service Federations of Employees and Workers, members of Meghalaya Joint Council of Trade Unions & Associations and Members of Meghalaya Unit of All India Trade Union Congress will observe a national protest day by holding a joint demonstration on December 5 at 12 noon at Vivekananda Road parking lot The agitation will be against the anti-people and anti-workers policies of labour law amendment, FDI and disinvestment announced by the NDA Government.
