SHILLONG: The final matches of the Chief Minister Youth Development Scheme Under-12 Football Tournament 2014 for both boys and girls organized by the office of the East Khasi District Sports Officer will be held today.
In the boy’s section, Pynursla Community and Rural Development (C&RD) Block will play against Mawryngkneng C&RD Block while in the girl’s section, the Pynursla C&RD Block will take on Khatar Shnong C&RD Block.
In the semi-final matches for boy’s which was played at JN Stadium on Wednesday, Pynursla defeated Mylliem 6-5 via a tie-breaker and Mawrynkneng defeated Mawsynram by 2-0 and for girl’s, Pynurslam defeated Mylliem by 2-0 while Khatarshnong defeated Mawphlang by a huge margin of 7-0 goals.
