Amlarem school celebrates silver jubilee

JOWAI: Ka Syiem Jingsuk Secondary School, Amlarem celebrated its silver jubilee on Thursday on the school premises.

Urban Affairs Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh attended the function as the chief guest. Other guests included local MLA and Parliament Secretary in charge Sports and Youth Affairs, Stephanson Mukhim, MDC, Holando Lamin, Sub-Divisional Officer, G. Das and former legislator, Lahkmen Rymbui.

The function was adorned with skit, dance and song presentations which included the traditional plate dance, Jubilee song by the School Choir and modern group and individual dances. S. Lakuna, who has been teaching in the school since its inception, was felicitated on the occasion. Besides, the souvenir for the silver jubilee celebrations was also released by the guests.
