Scarlet Johansson finds motherhood exhausting

Hollywood star Scarlet Johansson says being a mother is exhausting in a wonderful way. The 30-year-old actress gave birth to daughter Rose Dorothy in September, reported People magazine. “It’s exhausting in the most wonderful way. I never thought how much sleeping through the night would mean to me. I still lack experience. Right now I’m just trying to manage,” said Johansson. The ‘Under the Skin’ actress said that she finds the smell of her daughter amazing. “She smells sweet, totally. I can’t quite describe it, but it really makes you euphoric,” she said.  (PTI)

Jennifer Lopez to guest star on ‘Parks And Recreation’

Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez is heading back to TV to guest star in the final season of comedy ‘Parks And Recreation’. The 45-year-old ‘Booty’ hitmaker will play a nanny employed by Amy Poehler and Adam Scott’s characters, according to Fox News. This will be Lopez’s first scripted TV appearance since 2010, when she guest starred on ‘How I Met Your Mother’. The final season of ‘Parks and Recreation’ is slated to premiere in the US in January next year. Jon Hamm, Megan Mullaly and Rachel Dratch will also be among the guest stars appearing on the show’s seventh and final season. (PTI)

Anna Chlumsky to make her Broadway debut

Veep’ actress Anna Chlumsky is set to make her Broadway debut in the revival of ‘You Can’t Take
It With You’ next year. The 33-year-old star will replace Rose Byrne on January 6 at the Longacre Theatre, reported Contactmusic. Actor Richard Thomas will also be joining the cast, which includes James Earl Jones, Kristine Nielsen and Elizabeth Ashley, in the role currently being played by Mark Linn-Baker. Byrne and Linn-Baker will play their last shows on 4 January. (PTI)
