SHILLONG: The KSU’s South West Khasi Hills unit has called for a 24-hour bandh protesting the State government’s failure to place Weiloi to Rangblang road project in the ‘priority list’ of the NLCPR.
Rs.27 crore road project was scrapped by the NLCPR Committee on October 13, 2013.
The bandh will be effective from 5am of December 15 to 5am of December 16 in the whole of South West Khasi Hills district and Mawsynram Block of East Khasi Hills District, informed Forwardman Nongrem, KSU unit’s  general secretary, on Wednesday.
