SHILLONG: State Bank of India, Shillong branch has financed a cooperative housing project at New Town Kolkata involving Rs 20 crore as loan.

On Sunday, the SBI AGM formally handed over the first installment of the loan to Meghobihar Cooperative Society Shillong which has taken up the project involving 150 flats at Rajarhat area.

The project will cost nearly Rs 50 crore will be ready by January 2017.
