Theft
On December 15 at around 5.15 pm, unknown miscreants stole one handbag containing important documents belonging to Ilasaia D Kharkongor from her vehicle parked near Hotel Pegasus Crown at Police Bazar.
On the night of December 15, unknown miscreants broke into a Mandir at Lukier Road, Shillong and stole Rs. 50, 000 from a donation box.
Traster Marwein lodged a complaint (December 14) at Nongstoin PS that on September 24, 2014, one Biswel Nongrum stole PDS rice amounting to Rs. 1,200 and other materials valued around Rs. 11,500 belonging to Princords Wahlang and Trilina Wahlang at Mawlangsu village (WKH).
On the night of December 13, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (AS-18B-5895) belonging to John Edwin T. Sangma from Resubelpara (NGH).
One knocked down
On December 15 at around 9.30 pm, one motorcycle (A/F) ridden by Sukher Synrem (25) knocked down Makrisha Khongthaw (25) at Mawiong, Shillong. Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Dilip Dutta lodged a complaint (December 14) at Tura PS that on September 12, 2014 at around 5 pm, one Mahindra pick-up (ML-08B-6184) driven by Pratap Lohar dashed against a motorcycle (ML-08C-5988) ridden by his son Deborata Hajong (25 yrs) at Asanang, NH-51 (WGH). As a result, the motorcycle rider sustained injuries and was shifted to GMC Guwahati.
Accident
On December 15 at around 11.30 pm, one Maruti Car (ML-05F-7118) capsized at Umphyrnai (EKH). As a result two occupants sustained injuries and were removed to Woodland Hospital.
Fraud
Bok Mawlong lodged a complaint at Laban PS that on December 13 he received a call from one Manu Kumar Mishra who introduced himself as a bank official and asked about the details of his account and ATM PIN. Later he detected that an amount of Rs. 64,900 has been debited from his account.
Body found
On December 13 at around 10.30 am, one unidentified male person (30 yrs approx) was found lying unconscious near Anjalee Parking Lot, Shillong. He was removed to CH Shillong, where he died on the same day.
Murder
On December 11 at around 10.20 am, unknown miscreants murdered Teren Khustina Rynniaw (50 yrs) at Nongrynniaw village (WKH). In this connection, Police arrested one David Chettri.
