‘I am overprotective as a mother’
Actress Katie Holmes says she is ‘overprotective’ as a mother and tends to go a little too far at times. Holmes, 35, who has a eight-year-old daughter Suri with her ex-husband Tom Cruise, tries her best to make sure that her daughter is safe while she is out, reported Contactmusic. “Any parent has to watch everything that is going on around her child and I think I am a little overprotective because I’m always the one say, ‘Watch out, there’s a car’. “I try to be as informed as possible in terms of looking and listening to what’s going on, and getting to know my child’s friends,” Holmes said. The ‘Jack and Jill’ star said she is not going to teach her daughter about the drawbacks of internet because she is too young for that chat at the moment. (PTI)
I would never kick Robert out: Khloe Kardashian
Reality television reality star Khloe Kardashian has slammed reports that she tried evicting brother Robert from her house. The 30-year-old star, who is said to have shared close bond with Robert, said she would never do that. Reports said she had tried to evict him from her house, reported E! Online. “One of the best things about my house is that my brother lives with me. I would never kick him out,” Khloe posted on Twitter. “I’ve begged for him to live with me. So until he wants to leave… This is his home,” she added. Khloe has apparently been there for Robert when he was going through a rough patch and he was very supportive after Khloe’s split with her ex-husband Lamar Odom. “Rob and Khloe have always been tight. And Khloe has been there 100 per cent for Rob since he’s been going through hard times.(PTI)
Nicki Minaj releases short movie for her third album
Rapper Nicki Minaj has released a short film to promote her new album The Pinkprint. The 32-year-old singer’s 16-minute music video features some songs off her newly-released album, which includes ‘The Crying Game’, ‘I Lied’ and ‘Grand Piano’, reported Ace Showbiz. The clip starts with shots of city at night with the song ‘All Things Go’ is played in the background and then Minaj appears inside a car when the intro of the song ‘The Crying Game’ kicks in. ‘The Pinkprint’ is Minaj’s third album and it was released on December 15 after several delays. The album got positive reviews from the critics and it is all set to debut in the top five on Billboard 200 next week. (PTI)
Joe Anderson replaces Michael Pitt’s role in ‘Hannibal’
Actor Michael Pitt, who has played the role of a sociopath meat-packing magnate Mason Venger’ in ‘Hannibal 2’, has been replaced by Joe Anderson in the next season. Anderson, 32, has confirmed his casting by posting a picture of him in his Mason Verger makeup on Instagram. Pitt, 33, who is known for his role in Bernardo Bertolucci’s ‘The Dreamers’ and as Jimmy Darmody on HBO’s series ‘Boardwalk Empire’, exited the show but the reason is still very unclear, reported Ace Showbiz. The show’s third season will also introduce a new character named Cordell, Mason’s personal doctor who is ‘quiet, very intelligent and definitely creepy’. The new season is set to air in 2015. (PTI)
