SHILLONG: Shillong General Post office is now placed in the postal core banking network with effect from December 22. It may be mentioned that so far 1314 post offices in the country have been connected in the postal core banking network.
Saving bank account holders of Shillong GPO can now do transactions in any of the 1314 post offices in the country without any restriction.
Post Master General, North East Postal Centre, Shillong, I Pangernungsang inaugurated the core banking solutions in Shillong on Monday during an in-house function.
