On December 28 around 6.45 pm, unidentified miscreants in a motorcycle (ML-05-8616) snatched one cellphone from Hom Chettri at Happy Valley, Shillong.
Assault
On December 28, unknown miscreants assaulted Prasant Lama (19) near CRPF Gate at Bivar Road, Shillong. Victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Thieves nabbed
On December 28 around 10 am, two persons Rajesh Dev Nath and Ganesh Chettri were apprehended while they were stealing iron rods from a construction site of GAD Quarters at Oakland Road, Shillong and were handed over to Police.

On December 20 around 6 pm, one Bijai Marak stole one cellphone, Rs.11,413 and clothes from the house of Roseng Sangma at Tapa Rongdopa village under Mendipathar PS (NGH).
