Aizawl: Newly-appoi-nted Mizoram Governor Aziz Qureshi would be arriving in Aizawl on Thursday next. Raj Bhavan sources said here today that he would be sworn-in on the same day at the Durbar hall of Raj Bhavan.
A Presidential communique on December 30 had said that Qureshi has been transferred and appointed as Governor of Mizoram for the remainder of his term. Meghalaya Guv Krishan Kant Paul, who also had the additional charge of Mizoram, was transferred to Uttarakhand. (PTI)
