Kanpur: A woman was allegedly molested on Sunday on board the Delhi-bound North-East Express by two youths, who were later arrested. According to Government Railway Police (GRP) Inspector Tripurari Pandey, the matter came to light in the afternoon as the train arrived at the Kanpur Central railway station. GRP said that the woman’s father complained that two youths — identified as Jayendra Singh and Naveen Kumar, both hailing from Nagaland — had molested his daughter on the train.

The woman was said to be a resident of Kanpur Dehat. After receiving the complaint from the woman’s father, GRP arrested the two youths and further inquiries are on in the matter, Pandey added. (PTI)
