Qureshi to take oath as Mizoram governor on Friday

Aizawl: Aziz Qureshi will be sworn-in as the new Governor of Mizoram on Friday, state Protocol Officer David L Pachuau said on Monday.

The decision was made at the meeting of senior officials chaired by the state Chief Secretary Lalmalsawma, Pachuau said. Qureshi, transferred to Mizoram from Uttarakhand on December 30, will arrive here on Thursday, he said. (PTI)
