Two militants killed in encounter

Imphal:Two militants were on Tuesday killed in an encounter with police personnel in Bishenpur district of Manipur, police said. Following a tip-off, a house was raided, police said, adding, the militants opened fire at the police forces.
In the ensuing encounter, two militants were killed and three others escaped, police said. Two 9 mm pistols with some ammunition were recovered from the spot, they said, adding that the bodies have been sent to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital here for post-mortem. The identities of the militants were not yet known, police said. (PTI)
