Downey Jr win big at People Choice Awards

Hollywood superstar  Robert Downey Jr and popular sitcom ‘The Big Bang Theory’ bagged two and three trophies respectively at the People Choice Awards.The 49-year-old ‘Iron Man’ star was voted by fans as the Favourite Movie Actor and the Favourite Dramatic Movie Actor, reported Entertainment Weekly. ‘The Big Bang Theory’ was declared as the Favourite TV show and Favourite Network TV Comedy, and its star Kaley Cuoco received the award for Favourite Comedic TV Actress.Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence also took home two honours– Favourite Movie Actress and Favourite Action Movie Actress. Favourite Movie of the evening was Angelina Jolie’s hit film ‘Maleficent’, which also received the honour for the Favourite Family Movie. (PTI)
