Bijnor(UP): A local court on Friday rejected the bail petition of a father-son duo, suspected to have aided Indian Mujahideen terrorists. According to government lawyer Hazoor Zaidi, district judge Rajiv Lochan Mehrotra on Wednesday had reserved the judgement on the duo’s petition and today the judge rejected their petitions. Police had arrested Rayees, a resident of Kaajipada, and his son Abdullah on the charges of allegedly sheltering IM terrorists involved in a blast in a house in Jataan Colony five months ago. A suspected terrorist, identified as Mehboob Khan, was injured in the attack, even as others escaped from the spot. (PTI)
