Thief arrested

The police on Friday arrested the electrician of Dr. H. Gordon Roberts Hospital, Richfield Kynta (Hepe) of Nongmarboh, Rynjah for breaking open the almirah of the hospital on the night of January 5. The accused had stolen few fixed Deposit Certificates, Keys Pass books and cash from the almirah. After the arrest, police seized all the stolen items from his possession.

Theft

Major Prasad Thite of ARC, Happy Valley lodged a complaint at Madanrting PS that on January 7 at around 9.45 pm, three minor boys aged 16, 14 and 17 years respectively were apprehended while they were stealing water taps from ARC quarters, Happy Valley. Police arrested the accused.

Money looted

Balgrim D. Sangma lodged a complaint at Tura PS that on January 5 at about 1 am, one Cheka T. Sangma entered his house at Rongramgre village (WGH) and looted Rs. 16,000 from him at gun point.Assault
On January 3 at about 10.30 pm, three persons Wanio Phawa, Phiang Phawa and Bilang Kyndait assaulted Diki Dkhar at Mutong village (EJH).
