Two State students to witness R-Day parade from PM’s box

SHILLONG: Two students of the State-based centre of the Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) will get an opportunity to witness the upcoming Republic Day parade from the Prime Minister’s box at Rajpath in New Delhi.
The Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education has selected the two meritorious students from MGU, situated at 13th Mile, GS Road, Khanapara in Ri-Bhoi providing them with the rare opportunity to share the box with none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Government of India offers this opportunity each year to 100 students from across the country.
Mahatma Gandhi University, Meghalaya is recognized by UGC and UGC-AICTE-DEC to run distance education programmes.
