Nagaland dissident NPF leader Kaito meets Rajnath

Kohima: The dissident leader of Naga Peoples Front (NPF) Legislator G. Kaito Aye, ‘ accompanied by Nagaland MPs Neiphiu Rio and Khekiho Zhimomi, met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi on Sunday in order to ‘discuss the formation of a new arrangement in the State under his leadership..
The Spokesperson for the dissident NPF Legislature Party Imkong L Imchen, informing this, expressed confidence that G. Kaito Aye would overcome the present stalemate within the NPF party and replace T. R. Zeliang as the Chief Minister.
Source from Kaito’s camp said that the Home Minister Rajnath Singh reportedly ‘conveyed his blessing over the proposed new arrangement for change of leadership’ at the meeting.
Singh told the NPF leaders to also meet other Central BJP leaders, including BJP President Amit Shah, in Delhi on Sunday, reportedly to discuss the same leadership issue. (UNI)
