Threat
A person from Police Bazar lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on January 10 at about 6.15 pm, unknown persons illegally posted his Facebook profile picture, which was a photograph of his sister and him, without his consent in another Facebook account. On January 13 around 2.30 pm, unidentified youths (4/5) in a local taxi passed by his shop at GS Road, Shillong and threatened him.
Theft
On January 13 at about 3 am, unknown miscreants broke into the compound of Col. Shishupal, Security Consultancy Service at Pynthorumkhrah and stole clothes and two bags of rice valued around Rs. 12,000.
Vehicle abandoned
On January 13, one Maruti car (ML-04A-7306) was found abandoned at 7th Mile, Upper Shillong. The vehicle was reported missing from Lummawrie, Laitumkhrah.
Fraud
Baidnath Thakur lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on January 12 morning, he received one anonymous call, in which the caller claimed to be a Branch Manager of SBI Laitumkhrah and asked about the details of his ATM card. Later, he found that Rs. 57,000 has been fraudulently withdrawn from his account.
Illegal collection
Sengbath Marak lodged a complaint (January 12) at Tura PS that one Euzine K. Sangma is illegally collecting tax of Rs. 20/- per bag of cement at Daluagre Tollgate (WGH), without proper receipts.
Molested
A woman lodged a complaint at Mairang PS that on January 11 at about 3 pm, one Wansohwell Ryntathiang molested her 19-year-old daughter in her house at Mawkohmit village (WKH).

Accident
On January 8 at about 9.30 pm, one vehicle (ML-05K-0476) driven by Vishal Thapa (28) dashed against a scooter (ML-05L-7414) ridden by Donboklang War at MECOFED, GS Road, Shillong. As a result, the scooter rider sustained injuries and was shifted to NEIGRIHMS Mawdiangdiang. A criminal case has been registered.
Assault
Sina Nongspung lodged a complaint at Madanrting PS that on January 7, one Mila Songthiang and her accomplices (4) assaulted her at Smit PHC (EKH). The named accused had earlier taken a loan of Rs. 53,000 from the complainant and failed to repay the same till date, in spite of several reminders.
