Melbourne: Sports apparel manufacturer Nike on Thursday unveiled the Indian cricket team’s jersey and kit which the side will sport in the upcoming tri-series against Australia and England, followed by the World Cup. Interestingly, each kit – jersey and bottoms – is made out of an average of 33 recycled plastic bottles.
“The new team India uniform is light, comfortable and packed with innovation to help minimise distractions on the field of play and that’s critical when millimetres make a difference between a game-winning innings or wicket,” said India skipper MSDhoni here.(IANS)
