MILAN: AC Milan has completed the signing of Suso from Liverpool, with the 21-year-old Spanish midfielder agreeing a deal until 2019.
Suso tweeted he was “very happy to become a Milan player. Really happy to play for a very important club. Starting a new history there.”
Suso, who spent last season on loan in Spain’s La Liga with Almeria, signed from Cadiz in 2010 but made just 21 appearances for Liverpool. He scored once – in his only appearance this season against Middlesbrough in the league cup.
He was then sidelined with injury and only recently returned to training. Suso was expected to sign for Milan when his contract expired this summer, but the young Spaniard reportedly went to Italy on his day off last Sunday for a medical without permission.(AFP)
