Everybody has right to elect its leader: Naga former Minister

Kohima:Nagaland MLA and former Minister Kuzholuzo Nienu has said everybody has legal, con-stitutional and democratic rights to elect its own leader, when in majority.
Addressing as the Chief Guest during Chakhesang Thuni festival celebration under the theme ‘Cavi he kini’ (Peace is wealth) held at Razeba hosted by Razeba Public Organisation on Saturday, some 83 km away from the state capital under Phek district, Nienu clarified to the people that Kaito’s group was not to topple the present Nagaland government, but demand for change of leadership within the NPF party as they have absolute majority to provide better, stronger and cleaner government. He said, “We know democratic right, ther-efore stand for majority”.
He also urged the public and the Nagas to judge whether majority or minority” should take over the government.(UNI)
