Voice Hunt final round: Ten singers make the cut

NONGSTOIN: Ten singers from of West and South West Khasi Hills districts made it to the final round of the ‘Voice Hunt’, a first of its kind talent-hunt-show at Mairang on Friday.
As many as 12 contestants battled it out in the traditional round to make it to the final stage of the event. The winner of the event will get the opportunity to become the brand ambassador for “Clean & Green West Khasi Hills” besides taking home a cash prize and getting a chance to record  a music album.  The finalists are Aron Pyngrope, Nickyfrankson Marwein, Balari K. Mawlong, Rihunlang Lyngdoh, Balasiewdor Ryntathiang, Gloria K. Mawlong, Kitkupar Nongsiej, Vanessa Kharmyndai, Ibanrilin Lyngkhoi and Baphilla L. Mawnai.
The event is being organised by the A=Apple Society.
Out of the 12 contestants, eight were selected on the basis of the points they secured whereas two others were given a wild card entry. The final of the event will be held here on January 30.
