TURA: A three-day exhibition-cum-sale was organized by Tura United Christian Academy (TUCA), an educational project of Garo Baptist Association No IV (Krima No IV) under Garo Baptist Convention from January 16 to 18 at New Tura Playground near Araimile.
The three-day programme was hosted by the Matchakolgre Baptist Church as part of its 115 Sobha under the theme ‘Walking Prudently’ with an aim to raise funds for infrastructure development.
Local MLA, John Leslee K Sangma, who inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of prominent Church leaders, expressed happiness over the ongoing development of the Academy within a short span of time besides producing good results.
He urged upon the teachers, Church elders and the management committee to go beyond the classroom activities and expand its horizon to greater heights and thereby bring change to the Church and the Society at large.
Among others present on the occasion included Krima No IV President, AG Momin, TUCA Principal, Dr Shiny Ch Sangma, and other Church and TUCA office bearers.
