London: Arsenal announced Wednesday the deal of the 17-year-old Polish midfielder Krystian Bielik from Legia Warsaw.
The Gunner have not revealed the transfer fee. Bielik, who can play both in midfield and centre-back, costs the London club around 2.5 million pounds, reports Xinhua.
“It’s a gamble but it’s worth to take the gamble. If he does succeed, then the price is cheap,” Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger said.
The talented Poland youth international made five league appearances for Legia Warsaw and he is expected to work initially within the Arsenal’s Under-21 side. (IANS)
