Mr. Acharya shared his views with the APO team on the issue of Naga political negotiations and the ongoing political situation in the state. He also echoed his earlier views that the present political imbroglio in the state was an ‘internal party strife’ of the NPF and therefore did not require his intervention as the Constitutional Head. Further, the Governor lamented that the crisis affected the interest of the public and added that it was a ‘sad situation within the ruling NPF party’ that won a massive mandate of the people. In this, the Governor felt an urgent need for civil societies to be consciously concerned for a final solution, the APO release said. UNI
