Two MCS officers nominated to IAS

SHILLONG:  Two senior Meghalaya Civil Services officers, HM Shangpliang and HB Marak, were on Friday nominated to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
Both Shangpliang and Marak are MCS officers of 1987 batch. Shangpliang is currently the Director of Social Welfare department and Directorate of Information & Public Relations while Marak is the Joint Secretary of Revenue and Disaster Management.
