Super Div cricket: Riatsamthiah beat Young Guns

SHILLONG: Riatsamthiah SCC defeated Young Guns by 48 runs in a league match of the Super Division Shillong Cricket League organised by the Shillong Cricket Association at the SCA Cricket Ground, Polo on Tuesday.
Being put into bat, Riatsamthiah piled up 208 runs in 40 overs losing all wickets in the process. Shanbok Wankhar raced to 68 of equal number of deliveries while Lambha Khongpai (49 of 77 balls) missed out on a half century. Azad Quereshi (3/35) and Md. Junaid (3/45) were the pick of the bowlers.
In reply, Young Guns were bundled out for 160 runs in 36.2 overs. Beeru Chettri scored 49 runs of 64 balls while And Md. Junaid provided support with 23 runs of 44 balls. Adino Mawlong grabbed three wickets for Riatsamthiah while Aiborlang Wahlang retained figures of 2/19 of 7.2 overs.
