NONGSTOIN: In a joint operation Meghalaya Police along with Army and Assam Police on Wednesday arrested the self-styled finance secretary of a newly-formed militant outfit Achik Jatna Remikkangipa Kotok (AJRK) -Ramu Sangma — from his residence at Santipur village in Kamrup district of Assam. Police recovered one 9mm pistol, three live ammunition, one notepad, several demand notes, one walkie-talkie, one mobile handset besides AJRK seal from his possession.
