SHILLONG: The BJP’s Meghalaya unit has slammed AICC general Secretary in-charge of North East, V Narayanasamy, for his remarks that the NDA government is anti-farmer and anti-tribal. Stating that the Ministry of DoNER was set up under NDA rule, BJP’s Meghalaya unit general secretary, Dipayan Chakraborty said that the senior Congress leader did not do his homework before making the “irresponsible statement”.
According to Chakraborty, the BJP Government at the Centre was giving special attention to the development of North East and the region would shine under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
