Thief sentenced to four months’ imprisonment

SHILLONG: The Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Shillong convicted one Charles Thongni with punishment of simple imprisonment of four months and a fine of Rs. 2000.
Thongni was apprehended by staff of Don Bosco Technical School, Laitumkhrah in September last year for stealing a mobile phone and attempting to steal a ladies hand bag and school bag from the school.
