Rajya Sabha MP from the State, Wansuk Syiem interacts with villagers during an awareness programme on Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana at Iewrynghep under Mawkynrew Community and Rural Development Block, East Khasi Hills on Friday. Syiem also attended awareness programme at Umkhoi and Mawlngot villages under Mawkynrew C&RD Block. Syiem informed the villagers that SAGY is a rural development programme for improving basic amenities by utilizing the developmental schemes of the Centre and the State. (MIPR)
