CBI gets Matang in custody

Kolkata: Former union minister in the PV Narasimha Rao government and Congress leader from Assam Matang Sinh, accused of his involvement in the multi-crore Saradha chit fund scam, was on Saturday sent to CBI remand for next five days. The Alipore court  allowed the central investigating agency to keep Matang Sinh in its custody until February 11. (UNI)
