AICC leader visits Jaintia Hills

SHILLONG: AICC general secretary in charge Meghalaya, V. Narayanasamy, visited Jaintia Hills and attended the meeting of West Jaintia Hills District Congress Committee on Wednesday.
The AICC leader arrived in Shillong on Tuesday and met the party leaders including frontal wings of the MPCC in Shillong.
MPCC president DD Lapang, working president Deborah C. Marak, and Lok Sabha member from Shillong Vincent H. Pala were present during the meeting in Jaintia Hills.
The meeting was presided over by Deputy Chief Minister RC Laloo.
Narayanasamy will attend another party meeting at Tura on Thursday after which he will leave for Delhi. Lapang will accompany him to attend a meeting in Delhi.
