Appointment
The Governor has appointed Jennifer Joan Kylla as the Chairperson of the Child Welfare Committee of Ri Bhoi District, under the Social Welfare Department vide an official notification on January 6 last.
Album release
Lamphang Syiemlieh will release his album entitled La Rympei at a function at Hotel Polo Towers on Feb 21 at 2pm. Home Minister Roshan Warjri will be the chief guest.
Unclaimed body
One unknown body was found at Bara Bazar on Feb 15. The body has been kept at Shillong Civil Hospital and relatives are requested to claim the body at the earliest.
