SHILLONG: Five persons allegedly torched the house of a woman at Mawlali village in East Khasi Hills.
Police said that the victim lodged a complaint at Madanrting PS that on Feb 15 around 1:30 am, five persons – Prongstone Nongspung, Redstone Nongspung, Singstar Pyngrope, Kerrinad Nongbri and Kesten Nongspung – allegedly set her house on fire.
Loss of property is estimated at around Rs.3 lakh.
