Rapper Afroman arrested at concert

Rapper Afroman was taken into police custody after he allegedly punched a female fan during a concert.
The ‘Because I Got High’ hitmaker was performing in Biloxi, Mississippi when a woman walked onto the stage and approached him, according to Billboard. In the video footage of the incident, the hip-hop star is seen playing guitar when he suddenly turns and lashes out at the stage invader, who falls to the ground. Security guards then help move her away. Afroman, real name Joseph Edgar Foreman, was later arrested by police outside the venue. A representative for the rapper said, “This was a completely involuntary reflex reaction to people infringing on his stage space. It was uncharacteristic behaviour that was initiated by outside uncontrolled forces.” (PTI)

Pirates of Caribbean 5 plot unveiled

The synopsis of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ is revealed as the movie is starting production in Australia. According to the official plot, Johnny Depp’s Jack Sparrow will have a hard time facing off a new character, reported Ace Showbiz. “Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea… Including him. “Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas,” read the synopsis. The fifth instalment in ‘Pirates of Caribbean’ movie franchise will be directed by Espen Sandberg and Joachim Ronning with a script by Jeff Nathanson (‘Catch Me If You Can’, ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’). Javier Bardem is confirmed to play the villain, Captain Salazar. (PTI)
Bieber pelted with eggs in first Comedy Central Roast teaser
Pop sensation Justin Bieber has begun poking fun at
himself in the first promo for his Comedy Central
roast. In the video, shirtless Bieber, 20, opens up his arms before he’s pelted with eggs, reported Ace Showbiz. Comedy Central posted the video on its social media sites and captioned it, “Watch Justin Bieber learn how poor, defenceless houses feel.” The teaser is a reference to Bieber’s egg throwing scandal in which he was charged with one misdemeanour count of vandalism for throwing eggs at his Calabasas neighbour’s home in January 2014. He got two years’ probation, was sentenced to pay USD 80,900 in restitution and to complete twelve weeks of anger management and five days of community service. (PTI)
Patrick Schwarzenegger involved in car crash
Miley Cyrus’ boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger has
been involved in a car crash here. The Los
Angeles police are looking for the driver who they intentionally rammed into a car driven by Patrick, the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger, reported TMZ. Los Angeles Police Department Captain John McMahon said Schwarzenegger, 21, was not injured in the crash that occurred last week in Valley Village. The crash is being investigated as a felony assault with a deadly weapon, McMahon said. The driver fled before police arrived at the scene and had not been arrested, he said. Cyrus was not in the car at the time of the crash, the captain said. Patrick is a USC student and model. He’s the eldest son of the former California governor and Maria Shriver. (PTI)
