Producers of ‘Fukrey’ Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani Wednesday paid tribute to actor Ashraf-Ul-Haq.
The 45-year-old actor, who starred in ‘Traffic Signal’ and ‘Black Friday’ and ‘Fukrey’, died on Tuesday.
Ashraf is survived by his wife and nine-year-old son. “Ashraful, who portrayed ‘Smackiya’ in Fukrey passed away. Much too young to be gone. Tragic. Deepest condolences to his family,” Farhan posted on Twitter. In ‘Fukrey’, he played the character of a drunkard who had loads of money but lived like a beggar on streets.
The Assam-born actor was last seen in national award-winning film ‘The Lost Behrupiya’ (2013), where he played the lead role. (PTI)
