SHILLONG: TNT Sputnik on Monday defeated Riatsamthiah SC by 33 runs in the league match of the Super Division Shillong Cricket League at the SCA Cricket Ground, Polo.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, TNT Sputnik were restricted for 171 runs in 38 overs. Aditya Singhania topscored with 45 runs off 35 balls and Anzar Ali scored 23 off 35 balls. While Khamborlang Kharbuki, Md. Washid Ali and Shaisngi Lyngdoh took 2 wickets each for Riatsamthiah SC.
In reply, Riatsamthiah SC were all out for 138 in 40 overs. Shaisngi Lyngdoh scored 28 off 50 balls. Rahul Bun took 3 wickets for 28 and Aditya Singhania bagged 2 wickets conceding 24 runs.
The tournament is being organised by the Shillong Cricket Association.
