Results declared

The results of the Special Forces-10 are out and have been uploaded on the Meghalaya Police website.  Candidates can check the result from the website as well as the notice boards of the SPs and Commandants.

Office shifted

The office of the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights has been shifted from Nongshilliang to Lower Lachumiere in the building premises of the Women’s Commission with effect from Feb 23, 2015.

Notification

The Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills, has informed that the State Government has issued a notification that all events falling under the purview of the Meghalaya Taxation Act including fetes, melas, circus, shows, raffles etc., also inclusive of such events as games, sports, music or dramatic performances organized by any organization registered under the Societies Registration Act will have to acquire tax clearance certificate from the office of the Commissioner of Taxes prior to submission of necessary application for permission from District Administration.

Event

The Directorate of Field Publicity will organize the concluding event of the campaign on Special Outreach Programme on Feb 26 at PCI Conference Hall, Lower Lachumiere at 3:30 pm. C&RD Minister Prestone Tynsong will be the chief guest.

Science Day

The Survey of India will celebrate National Science Day on Feb 28 and as a part of the celebration an exhibition will be organized in Survey of India office on Feb 27.

Foundation day

Assam Sonatan Dharma Sabha Kali Mandir, Laitumkhrah will celebrate its 14th foundation day on Feb 25. All devotes have been requested to grace the occasion.
