Two persons killed in road mishap in Mizoram

Aizawl:  Two persons riding on a motorcycle were killed in an accident in Vairengte town on the Mizoram-Assam border Tuesday night, Police said.
Police said that the motorcycle being driven by Lalmalsawma Khiangte was overtaking a truck while another truck was coming from the other side resulting in the accident.  The pillion rider Lalrinawma was crushed to death by one of the trucks. Khiangte succumbed to his injuries at the Primary Health Centre in Vairengte while he was being prepared to be taken to Aizawl. (PTI)
