Assault
On February 27 at around 12.15 AM, unidentified miscreants looted Rs. 9,000 after assaulting Md. Alta Hussain Laskar (26 yrs), driver of truck (AS-01E-8350) at Umling GS Road, Ri bhoi.
On February 26 at around 11.40 pm, unidentified miscreants assaulted Ricky Stone Dkhar (38) at Langkyrding, Shillong. Victims sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.
On February 20 at around 11 pm, two unidentified miscreants attempted to snatch a bag from Shibor Mawkon after assaulting him near Assam Studio, GS Road, Shillong. Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Accident
On February 27 at around 1.45 am, one vehicle (number not known) dashed against one motorcycle ridden by Dakerkupar Kharmyndai (26) near Loreto Convent, Laitumkhrah. As a result, the motorcycle rider sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
On February 26 at around 8.20 pm, one Maruti car (AS-15-4966) collided with one Maruti local taxi (ML-05D-6841) driven by Sadhu Mahanto (22) at Dhankheti, Shillong. As a result, the taxi driver sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
On February 26 at around 8.20 pm, an accident took place between one Hyundai i-10 car (MZ-01E-9080) driven by Lalsawliana (51 yrs) and one truck (AS-01-AC-9675) driven by Deilang Marwein at Mawblei, Shillong. As a result, driver of Hyundai i-10 car sustained injuries and was admitted at NEIGRIHMS.
Suicide
On February 27 at around 9 am, Julius Gatphoh (31) committed suicide by hanging at Umsning, Ri Bhoi.
Body found
On February 27, one unidentified male body (25/30 yrs) with cut marks on the forehead was found hanging from a tree in a jungle near Anjalee Cinema Hall, Shillong.
One knocked down
On February 26 at around 4.20 pm, one Maruti Alto car (ML-05J-3415) driven by Deepak Roy (21) knocked down Philbia Sunn at Nongthymmai, Shillong. Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Theft
On February 26 night, unknown miscreants stole grocery items valued around Rs. 50,000 from the godown of Mary Nylla Mynsong at Mawlonghat, Shillong.
On February 14 at around 5 pm, unidentified miscreants stole one mobile phone from Sharmistha Chakraborty at Police Bazar, Shillong.
Rape attempt
On February 24 at around 6.30 pm, one Silgrak Ch. Sangma attempted to rape a woman in her residence at Lower Kongbe Ading (WGH). The accused also assaulted and threatened her with dire consequences.
