Tura: Unidentified men armed with shot guns opened fire on a biker travelling on the Tura-Damalgre road seriously injuring him on Sunday night.
The victim, Hubert Arengh, was travelling from Tura towards Garobadha road on a two wheeler (ML08 C 4716) when suddenly a group of unidentified men signalled him to stop in an isolated spot at Wakagre, outskirts of Tura.
Seeing the armed men the biker tried to force his way through when one of the criminals opened fire from a shotgun.
The biker was hit in the chest but miraculously survived the attack.
