SHILLONG: Jana Batnanova, an artist from Slovakia, will hold a three-day art workshop at Shillong Public School, Laitumkhrah, from March 5.
The workshop is being jointly organized by the Shillong Public School, RS Academy and Riti Academy for around 30 students.
Speaking to newsmen here on Monday, Batnanova said that the workshop would provide an opportunity to the young students to explore new techniques of art which include accidental and experimental art.   The artist also informed that she had held similar workshops in Assam after landing in India three years earlier.
Aaron Warjri, Principal, Shillong Public School, was happy that his school had got the opportunity to jointly organize the workshop, and said, “We would like to give our students the opportunity to learn modern art techniques.”
