Sangma said this while reacting to a query over the person. who despite being declared as an ‘absconder’ in a chargesheet filed by police, was given the sub contract for the installation of CCTVs in the city.
“There is a process of law for those people who reappear after being declared as an absconder,” Sangma said.
The ‘absconder’ identified as Daimul Alom Mazumder was present during the inauguration of closed-circuit television (CCTV) based surveillance system under ‘Safe-Secure-Shillong Project’ recently at Shillong Sadar Police Station.
